Text Box: Both Ken and Cathy are championship show judges. Ken awards Green Stars to most terrier breeds and is also passed to judged the group. Cathy is also passed by the IKC to group standard in terriers and more recently judged Miniature Schnauzers within the new FCI group 2. In addition to this she first awarded CC’s in Kerry Blues under the jurisdiction of the Kennel Club in 2003.
Ann is the mainstay of the kennel and deals with its day to day running. She can also be found having many a sleepless night in the maternity ward!
The kennel name was established by Ann and Ken in 1988 and Cathy was granted a separate interest in 1996.

Text Box: We keep a maximum of eight dogs to ensure that everyone gets the attention and mental stimulation they require.
Having acquired our first Kerry in 1981,our first show dog joined us from the Hallsblu Kennel in 1982. He was shown around the local open shows and was responsible for getting us all well and truly bitten by the dog show bug. Now some 25 years on, our passion for this incredible breed has not diminished but grown stronger. In recent years, there have been additions in the shape of West Highland Whites, Miniature Schnauzers and we have rekindled our friendship with the Lakeland Terrier in the last year.

Text Box: We have a small, select hobby kennel located in the rural area surrounding the market town of Ballyclare in County Antrim. Our home is located at the Ballynashee Station of the Narrow Gauge Railway that ran from Larne Harbour to Ballymena. The station first opened in 1879 and the last train ran through on 1st February 1933. We live in the extended station master’s house and the original passengers waiting room still stands today and is used today as our grooming room.
